This battle featured two relatively unknown male vocalists, Micky from the UK,
and Finnian from Australia, covering a Noah Cyrus (Miley's little sister) tune.

It was a tough choice for many of us, me included. Both versions were excellent and I had to listen a couple of times. In the end, Micky's rough-hewn vocals resonated more.

Was this your first BOTB tie? I can't remember such details no-mo'.
I've had so (damned) many of them over the years that I have come to despise ties. I'd actually much rather have a massive blowout (as I did in *this* round) than have a tie. However, that being so, I would still rather have a godzillion ties than a single shutout.
This was a goot Battle. Any time I have to listen to the songs more than once to make up my mind, *THAT* is a (damned) goot juan!
Hopefully your August 1st Battle will result in a winner... by a *single* vote (yours). Ain't nut'n more satisfying than *that*. I've had a number of finishes like that, also, and it's basically the BOTB version of paradise. (My Brother's "bote" robbed you of that experience in this round. He's always been that kind o' punk!)

It is better than a shutout, for sure, and yes, I have had a couple of ties in the past. Most famous one was Steppenwolf and Jeff Healey performing Hoochie Coochie Man. It was tough to decide between these two, so I suppose the result was fitting. Please thank your bro for casting a vote!
