HISTORY
"You're My World" is a cover of an Italian ballad originally recorded in 1963 as "Il mio mondo" ("My World") by Umberto Bindi.Although the original Italian version was not a hit, even in Italy, the song came to the attention of UK record producer George Martin, who commissioned an English version to be recorded by his protégée Cilla Black. The English lyrics were written by Carl Sigman.
"You're My World" reached No. 1 in Britain on the chart dated May 30, 1964 and remained there for a total of four weeks, one week more than Black's preceding single "Anyone Who Had a Heart". Although she returned to the UK Top Ten eight times, the song was her final No. 1 hit.Helen Reddy had a U.S. top 20 hit with the same song in 1977.Reference only. NOT eligible for voting!

Tom Jones (born 7 June 1940), (real name Thomas Jones Woodward) is a Welsh singer whose career has spanned five-and-a-half decades since his emergence as a vocalist in the mid-1960s, with a string of top hits, regular touring, appearances in Las Vegas (1967–2011), and career comebacks.
Jones' powerful voice has been described as a "full-throated, robust baritone". His performing range has included pop, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul, indie, folk, disco and gospel.
"You're My World" is the final track from his 1971 album, "She's A Lady".

For Valentine's Day 2017, Humperdinck recorded an exclusive acoustic performance of "You're My World" for OK! Good Records YouTube Channel.
