    A two-vote margin of victory is a close Battle. But you're right, this was a sparse turnout. I see that Birgit was the only non-BOTBer who showed up this time. Usually you get several others who submit votes, over and above the BOTB participants. Well, hopefully they'll find their way back here again for your next one.

      The outcome was better than usual, even if the voters were few. Yes, a couple of non-BOTBers didn't vote, but neither did two BOTB participants! Defeats the purpose of this whole thing, IMO, but what can you do?

      I hear ya! This is Day 4 of my current Battle and I've been stuck on a total of 5 votes since Day 1. I'm starting to wonder if, after 11 years, the BOTB Thrill is gone.

      Or, perhaps I should have used some heavier hooch (like whiskey, vodka, tequila or gin), rather than lightweight champagne & beer. 😄

      Sorry I missed your mid-month battle, Stephen, but I didn't play this time and I'm taking a bit of a break from blogging altogether just now. I do think the BOTB may be winding down, unless there's a way to find some new, enthusiastic participants.

    Tight battle all things considering and I'm on the winning side. Although, I am very happy about last week's Presidential election outcome, I wonder if this kept some of your usuals away? Thanks for sharing the results!
