SUMMER OF '69 #BOTB RESULTS



WELCOME BACK TO BOTB! 
It’s time to announce the results of the July 1st showdown.


This battle featured Albertans vs Californians

It didn't take long to see who the dominant favourite was here! I was still on a concert high, having seen Nickelback perform last weekend, so of course, I went with Chad & Ryan also. Still, I though Buckcherry did a good job of making it unique to them.

Here’s how it went down:

    Pert one-sided, but also pert-goot turnout.
    I remember the Summer of '69. That's when my family lost our house in Orange County and moved to Santa Monica. Being 9 or 10 years old (3 months older than Bryan Adams), I thought that our family had moved to the old "West". GOL!

    Like you, I never really got into Bryan's music, but I still dig the title of the song. The Summer of '69 was "neat". The Summer of '74 was probably my favorite because it was the Summer my Pa was unemployed; he embraced it and bonded with his kids 'All Summer Long' (a Beach Boys song) at the beach.
