    That was a very respectable outcome!
    While the Battle was still ongoing, it felt like Cinderfel-- uh... Cinderella was clobbering Mr. Muddy. But the results were fairly close. I mean, a 3-vote margin of victory certainly isn't a blowout.

    Well played, Debbie! I would happily accept a 3-vote differential in every single Battle I conceive.

    I'll be posting a new Battle on Feb. 15th. This one is going to include a somewhat forgotten hit song (#13) against a song that perhaps none of the voters will have ever heard before. Even so, I suspect it could be a close race.

      Thank you, Stephen! It was a decent outcome. ☺ I'll make the rounds of whoever has a mid-month battle going, but don't plan on doing one of my own. I spend way too much time online as it is!

      Oh, I hear ya, and I completely understand!
      The *ONLY* reason I've started doing mid-month Battles is because I have found so-dang-many good songs that mention booze, and if I don't double up on the monthly Battles, I might be left with more hooch than even I can drink! (Hard to believe, I know, and yet true!)
